Engineering graduate, chief executive of BDIAfrica has grown rapidly in recent years. Many countries of the continent are engaged in an active process of emergence, presenting many business opportunities. For this reason, the continent is appealing more and more investors like the German car maker Volkswagen, which has invested $ 20 million for a car assembly plant and vehicle sharing services in Rwanda.
Cameroon, Africa in miniature, will organize in 2019 the football Africa Cup of Nations. This great event which will put the country in the spotlight, offers an opportunity to think about development in many fields such as: agriculture, digitalization, tourism, energy, health, etc.
Since its creation in 2015 in Erlangen, Bantu Development Initiative (BDI) has launched a concept: Synergies Germano-Camerounaises (SYGERCAM) - German-cameroonian Synergies. Through this concept, we want to bring African companies, Cameroonian ones in particular, closer to those of Germany. We want to encourage foreigners and members of the diaspora to invest in Cameroon and to participate in the construction of a consistent platform to promote the exchange of information and experience sharing between the parties.
In 2016 and 2017, as you will see later, we counted on the unwavering support of the authorities and the German Embassy in Cameroon to carry out our activities in Cameroon. Amidst a series of training activities, visits to large agropastoral areas, business to business meetings, business to government, we participated in mayors and government delegates' forums to introduce them to German ethics and customs with partnership opportunities and a charitable attitude towards orphan children. The balance sheet of these activities has been generally satisfactory despite negligible shortcomings. I take the opportunity to thank all the organizations that trusted us. Thanks also to my companions in Cameroon and Germany, without whom this great adventure would not have prospered.
We will therefore continue it.
With the support of our German partners, strengthened by the words of the government reassuring determined youths with its support, our association deemed it good, to come back in 2019 during an African sports competition, and discuss the contributions of technology to development for a more competitive Africa. This contribution will go through a win-win business and economic cooperation between Africa, Cameroon, the European Union and Germany.
We come back with a slightly larger agenda, arguments that are a bit more convincing for African SMEs, investment-ready projects that benefit the greatest number and smiles for some of our junior brothers who are just waiting to be heard and accepted to assert themselves also in the Africa of tomorrow.
Dear leaders, Africa has many great assets and economic performances would be better if they are improved. We remain convinced that many of you feel challenged and will naturally join us in transforming our continent into a land of attractions and opportunities. Our entire team remains willing for this.

Afrika ist in den letzten Jahren rasant gewachsen. Viele Länder des Kontinents befinden sich in einem aktiven Entstehungsprozess, der viele Geschäftsmöglichkeiten bietet. Aus diesem Grund zieht die Region zunehmend Investoren wie den deutschen Automobilhersteller Volkswagen an, der in Ruanda 20 Millionen Dollar in ein Montagewerk und Car-Sharing-Dienste investiert hat.
Kamerun, wegen seiner Diversity auch Afrika im Kleinformat genannt, bietet ein grosses Potential für Engagements in verschiedenen Sektoren. Dazu gehören Weiterverarbeitung landwirtschaftlicher Produkte, insbesondere Genussmittel wie Kaffee, Tee und Kakao, Digitalisierung, Tourismus, Energie, Gesundheit. Dabei ist vor Allem eine Zusammenarbeit von deutschen und kamerunischen Unternehmen von großem Interesse, so werden die Stärken beider Seiten genutzt und mögliche Schwächen der einen durch die Möglichkeiten der anderen Seite ausgeglichen. Wie diese Zusammenarbeit aussehen könnte und wie Synergien und gemeinsam Ergebnisse und Erfolge erzielt werden können steht im Zentrum der SYGERCAM 2019.
Seit seiner Gründung in Erlangen, im Jahr 2015 hat der Verein Bantu Development Initiative (BDI) ein Konzept ins Leben gerufen: die Deutsch-Kamerunischen Synergien (SYGERCAM). Mit diesem Konzept wollen wir afrikanische Unternehmen, insbesondere kamerunische, für deutsche Unternehmen interessanter machen und somit die Annäherung fördern.
Unser Ziel ist es, Ausländer und Mitglieder der Diaspora zu ermutigen, in Kamerun zu investieren und zum Aufbau einer einheitlichen Plattform für den Informations- und Erfahrungsaustausch zwischen den Parteien beizutragen. konkreten Beiträge die die Technology zur Entwicklung für ein wettbewerbsfähigeres Afrika leisten kann, zu diskutieren. Dieser Beitrag wird bereits im Rahmen einer kommerziellen und wirtschaftlichen Zusammenarbeit zwischen Afrika, Kamerun, der Europäischen Union und Deutschland geleistet.
Behörden und der Deutschen Botschaft in Kamerun zählen, um unsere Aktivitäten in Kamerun durchzuführen. Zwischen einer Reihe von Trainingsaktivitäten, Abstiegen in weite Agropastoralgebiete, Business to Business, Business to Government, nahmen wir an Foren von Bürgermeistern und Regierungsvertretern teil, um ihnen die deutsche Ethik und Bräuche mitchaftsmöglichkeiten Werten und einer mitchaftsmöglichkeiten und einer mitchaftsmöglichkeiten und einer mitchaftsmöglichkeiten. Mit der Unterstützung unserer deutschen Partner, mit den Worten der kamerunischen Regierung, die den entschlossenen jungen Menschen ihre Unterstützung zusichert, schien es uns sionnvoll in 2019 von dem afrikanischen Sportereignis, dem Afrik Beäacup, zu dieten zber um kretk dieütechnology Entwicklung für ein wettbewerbsfähigeres Afrika leisten kann, zu diskutieren. Dieser Beitrag wird bereits im Rahmen einer kommerziellen und wirtschaftlichen Zusammenarbeit zwischen Afrika, Kamerun, der Europäischen Union und Deutschland geleistet.
2019 sind wir zurück mit einem etwas längeren Zeitplan, überzeugenderen Argumenten für afrikanische und deutsche kleine und mittelständische Unternehmen. Zur Umsetzung von investitions und umsetzungsbereiten Projekten, im Interesse der jungen Generation Kameruns vor Allem für und mit unseren jungen Mitglieder. Diese warten nur darauf gehört und akzeptiert zu werden, um sich im Afrika von morgen und in der Welt durchzusetzen.
Liebe Staats- und Regierungschefs, Afrika verfügt über viele beträchtliche Vorteile und Potenatiale, die nur darauf warten genutzt zu werden. Wir sind nach wie vor davon überzeugt, dass viele von Ihnen sich herausgefordert fühlen und mit uns gemeinsam die Attraktionen und Möglichkeiten unseres Kontinents nachhaltig zu nutzen und zu verwandeln.
