It is in view of these data that the diaspora which amounts to approximately 45,000 and being an important lever for the economic development of Cameroon which has been underlined in its economic reference framework, namely the National Development Strategy 2020- 2030 that we thought of setting up an international exhibition called SYGERCAM (Synergie Germano Camerounais).

The SYGERCAMs are an initiative of the Bantu Development Initiative (BDI) Association, whose ambition is to bring together and create a fusion between young Cameroonians established in
Germany and those established in Cameroon in order to encourage more local investment and thus contribute to the development of Cameroon.
The German-Cameroonian Synergies were born in 2016, from the will of the Cameroonians of the diaspora living in Germany, with a view to promoting the Economic Partnership Agreements (EPA) between the member countries of the European Union and Cameroon. Our mission is to bring together within the same platform companies from innovative sectors of activity, in particular the industrial, IT, financial and medical sectors, with the aim of allowing a mix between entrepreneurs, start-ups, project leaders and financial institutions from different countries and the Decentralized Territorial Collectivities. The SYGERCAM Fair is a concept of the Bantu Development Initiative, abbreviated as BDI; which is a German-Cameroonian organization born of the German and European Cooperation in Cameroon, namely the GIZ, the German Embassy, the Delegation of the European Union in Cameroon, the German-African Economic Association and the European Commission.
